Community houses were created\u00a0 in 1854. Two years later, the first Municipal Corporation arose. The land was donated by P. N. Rojas and, with the selling of the land, $24,000 pesos were collected to start building the Town Hall. On October 3rd, 1869, the corporation was open for bidding. The construction started where the building is located today. Afterwards, the authorization to buy the furniture was given. This generates a problem between the local administration and the Educational Management because they were claiming the title deeds and the right to stay in that place. In November 1907,\u00a0 the adjacent estate owned by Antonio Vi\u00f1as was purchased for 14.000 Pesos.<\/p>

In 1930, there was a bidding to repair the old communal house because it was very deteriorated. Ram\u00f3n\u00a0 Clavel, Juan Frascaroli, Cayetano Alsugaray and Alfredo Ochotorena, created a commission with the purpose to analyse the situation.
