SAN MARTÍN AVENUE

Approximately towards the year 1873 the assignment of names to the Montenses streets begins. Thus, it was decided to call what is now Av. San Martín Boulevard, long before its construction.

With the arrival of the railway, the installation of the train station was proposed, for that reason, a direct connection with the town center was requested, which by 1891 was not yet completed and which could be completed thanks to neighborhood collaboration.

On January 1, 1906, with Daniel Videla Dorna being Mayor, it was decided that the Boulevard be named after Don Zenón Videla Dorna. At that time it was thought to pave and illuminate the artery to connect the Civic Center with the railway station.
